Marta aka LA DIEGOL is a director born and raised in Barcelona. Her work navigates joyful atmospheres that are close to everyday life and filled with an urban, modern and staggering style. Her work is detailed-oriented and her passion for narrative and aesthetics reflects on every project she works in. 

From a very young age, her life has been influenced by the performing arts, dance, and music. This is reflected in many of the projects she directs, developing a visual language marked by rhythm, organic camera movements, and the character’s behaviour.

Her affection for social cinema has led her to the creation of characters and stories that feel authentic and close to home. LADIEGOL portrays an emotional and intense storytelling, with a commitment to social realism. For her each project is a window to express humanity’s complexity.
